Ales Group Sold

Impala SAS takes over.

A Paris Commercial Court has decided, as part of a disposal plan, to sell Alès Groupe's assets to holding company Impala SAS. The sale price was €13.5 million, approximately $15.7 million.

In the deal, the hairdressing division (Franklin Roosevelt Coiffure et Beauté and its subsidiaries Laboratoires Ducastel, Alès Groupe Distribution, Boy-Diffusion and Distri-Coiff) will be taken over by the current managers (MM . Legendre, Vignaud, Pauly and Tan) in accordance with an offer they made jointly with Impala.

Impala, which is owned by founding president Jacques Veyrat and family, also controls Roger & Gallet.

The take-over plan includes a commitment to maintain employment for the majority of the 102 employees of Alès Groupe (and its French subsidiaries) for 24 months.
